The human body has the ability to adapt to the demands of the environment, or to activities it is forced to perform often. Cells in the body will multiply to create new tissue when they are required to.

This is the principle used by orthopaedic surgeons to lengthen arms and legs, by actually 'forcing' the bones to grow longer. The same body principles have been used by native cultures for centuries with great success. Many body parts can be stimulated to grow this way, including the tissues of the penis.

Penis enlargement exercises use the above principle to lengthen and widen the penis. They force the cell walls within the corpus cavernosa to stretch beyond their normal operating parameters, using blood that is forced in with the hands. Using a repetitive cycle if exercises, similar to what is used for bodybuilding, the tissues are broken down and repaired many times, becoming larger and stronger each time.

The human penis is a complex piece of equipment, but for our purposes, we only need to look at the relevant mechanics of having an erection. There are three active mechanisms to an erection; the first is the two corpus carvernosa chambers, the second is the corpus spongiosum, and the third is the glans (penis head). The corpus cavernosa chambers are responsible for erection, and the corpus spongiosum contains and protects the urethra, the tube through which passes both urine and ejaculate.

To initiate an erection, the brain releases chemicals that cause blood to accumulate in the glans (head) and two larger cavities, the corpus cavernosa, until erection is achieved. Erect penis size is determined by the holding capacity of these chambers. When sexual activity stops, these chambers empty, and the penis reverts to its flaccid state.

The chambers of the penis are the primary focus for penis enlargement exercises. As these chambers are gradually made larger, the blood holding capacity is increased, thus the penis gets larger.

The other area affected by these exercises is the suspensory ligament that supports the penis when erect. These ligaments are not very useful when the penis is flaccid (soft) but are enormously useful when it grows and becomes erect.

A number of penis enlargement methods attempt to access this tissue. Surgery involves cutting this ligament to allow the portion of corpus cavernosa still retained within the body to be pulled out, extending the penis in length. The dangerous practice of hanging weights from the penis is also designed to extend this 'hidden' tissue.

Penis exercises work to gently stretch this ligament rather than brutalizing it, slowly relaxing it to achieve natural, long-lasting penis extension. There is no need for dangerous and potentially damaging weights or surgery, especially when simple, inexpensive exercises can get you the same results, without the risk of losing penile function.

Using the right penis enlargement exercises is the most effective, safest way to permanently enlarge your penis.
